As a Doctor of Physical Therapy with over 18 years of clinical experience and a lifelong passion for high-level soccer, Colin merged his love for the beautiful game with his expertise in physical therapy. Colin’s soccer journey began at the age of 5, culminating in his early teens playing for a state championship-winning club called The Thunderbolts in San Antonio, TX. This club gave him the experience of competing in renowned youth tournaments like The Dallas Cup and The Friendship Cup, laying the foundation for a globetrotting and ongoing soccer career.

Colin continued his soccer journey playing in junior college at Glendale Community College in Phoenix, AZ and later at Arizona State University, where he captained the club soccer team for two years. During graduate school at Northern Arizona University, he strengthened his foundation as a physical therapist by coaching and training a youth soccer team.

Upon relocating to NYC after graduation, Colin immediately immersed himself in the competitive, diverse soccer scene. Engaging in both indoor and outdoor soccer, he quickly found an expansive community who became lasting friends. Captaining The Manhattan Kickers, he achieved success with several league titles and embarked on international adventures for friendlies. In the competitive, small-sided realm of lower Manhattan's Bowery League, Colin also played for Green Card, securing several additional titles.

Moving to Boulder in the summer of '22, I seamlessly transitioned into the local soccer scene, joining the Atomic FC teams for Men’s Over 40 Outdoor League, Men’s Division 1 Outdoor League, Men’s 40+ at Boulder Indoor Soccer, and engaging in outdoor and futsal training with the club. Today, Colin continues to play weekly, fostering a pain-free and passionate connection with the game and community he loves.
